Entity Controller

About the role

The Entity Controller will lead accounting, control and compliance activities for small and mid‑size entities within Honeywell India. You will ensure accurate financial reporting, statutory compliance and effective audit coordination while driving process improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage project and inventory accounting for listed entities, including revenue, cost, standard cost working, COPA cycles and project settlements.
• Prepare quarterly financial statements, sales bifurcation, project accounting reconciliations, inventory provisions and unbilled AR provisions.
• Act as the primary controller for assigned entities, coordinating audit activities and ensuring compliance with IND AS, FEMA and Honeywell policies.
• Own balance‑sheet review, variance analysis, and account reconciliations using BlackLine.
• Ensure timely statutory reporting and end‑to‑end ownership of accounting, control and compliance processes.
• Collaborate with finance and business stakeholders to deliver US GAAP and IGAAP‑compliant reports.
• Identify and lead automation and process‑improvement initiatives.
• Provide financial analysis, explanations and advice to business units and auditors.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA) with 3‑5 years of experience, or semi‑qualified CA / equivalent with 7‑10 years of experience.
• BCom, MCom or MBA with relevant finance/accounting experience.
• 3‑10 years of experience in accounting, reporting, project accounting and inventory accounting for large, internationally‑active entities.
• Strong knowledge of IND AS, FEMA, US GAAP and IGAAP.
