English Teacher – Part‑time (20 hrs/week)

About the role

Openhouse is looking for an enthusiastic English Teacher to deliver engaging language classes for children across its Bangalore learning hubs. You will work 20 hours per week, shaping young learners’ reading, writing, speaking and comprehension skills in a fun, interactive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and conduct English language classes using the Openhouse curriculum.
• Facilitate activities that build vocabulary, reading, writing and communication skills.
• Monitor student progress, maintain documentation and provide regular feedback to parents and management.
• Interact with parents during feedback sessions, workshops and events.
• Collaborate with the management team on student trials and admissions as needed.
• Prepare students for language‑based presentations, performances or events.
• Participate in training sessions, team meetings and showcase events.

Required profile

• Passion for teaching children and helping them develop strong language skills.
• Ability to plan and deliver lesson plans that are interactive and age‑appropriate.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with parents and team members.
• Flexibility to work any five days per week, either weekdays (3‑7 PM) or weekends (9 AM‑1 PM).
