English Teacher – IGCSE (Upper Secondary)

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic English Teacher to deliver the IGCSE curriculum to our upper‑secondary students. The role involves creating engaging lessons, assessing progress, and maintaining regular communication with parents and guardians.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement curriculum and lesson plans for upper secondary students, aligning with IGCSE standards and ISP’s educational objectives.
• Deliver engaging and effective instruction, fostering a supportive classroom environment that encourages active participation and critical thinking.
• Assess and monitor student learning and progress through formative and summative evaluations, providing timely feedback to support improvement.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student performance, attendance, and any concerns, ensuring a collaborative approach to education.

Required profile

• Strong subject‑matter expertise in English language and literature, with proven instructional skills for IGCSE level.
• Excellent classroom management and communication abilities, capable of maintaining discipline while encouraging student engagement.
• Ability to motivate and inspire upper secondary learners, creating a positive learning atmosphere.
