Engineer/Senior Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an Engineer / Senior Engineer to lead the hardware development of controls projects for Bosch Home Comfort. The role involves delivering complete hardware solutions on time, within specification and budget, while driving innovation in control technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Execute all engineering aspects of assigned controls projects, ensuring specifications, schedule and cost targets are met.
• Estimate product cost, development budget and tooling expenses, and monitor financial performance.
• Review features and functionality to guarantee deliveries align with product and project specifications.
• Collaborate with project managers, product management, quality, procurement and manufacturing teams to develop and verify hardware.
• Lead innovation activities within the controls domain and provide regular updates to the project team.
• Ensure compliance with product development processes, documentation standards and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Engineering / Technology in Electronics or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a hardware engineer.
• Proven ability to follow product development processes and maintain documentation.

Required skills

• Hardware architecture and circuit design, including DC‑DC power supply and SMPS.
• EMI/EMC compliance, motor/compressor drive design, and communication interfaces such as UART, RS485, SPI, I2C.
• Component selection, BOM creation, PCB evaluation and certification testing.
• Production line support (ICT, FCT), PCBA failure analysis and EMI/EMC testing countermeasures.
• Wiring harness design, thermal heat‑sink design, and project management.
