Engineering Team Leader – Mechanical

About the role

Husky Technologies is seeking an Engineering Team Leader to head its Mechanical platform development in Chennai. You will lead a multidisciplinary team of junior, senior and specialist designers to create innovative, high‑quality machine platforms that meet customer expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach, mentor and cross‑train a mechanical engineering team.
• Oversee the design, development and release of new Husky machine platforms and critical service requests.
• Ensure product delivery aligns with business requirements, product definition and the Husky Operating model.
• Plan and schedule design activities to meet committed delivery dates.
• Enforce quality, risk mitigation and customer‑satisfaction standards throughout the development cycle.

Required profile

• Proven experience in leading mechanical engineering teams.
• Strong background in mechanical product development and platform engineering.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
