Engineering Manager

About the role

We’re looking for an Engineering Manager to join our Hyderabad team. In this role you will lead, build, and grow world‑class engineering teams, taking responsibility for technical execution and impact as we scale our three‑sided marketplace.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and grow a multi‑disciplinary team of Backend, iOS, Android, and Web engineers, fostering a diverse and high‑achieving environment.
• Drive technical and product strategy by setting clear project goals, guiding implementation choices, and ensuring the team meets group‑level metrics.
• Champion a learning culture through active mentorship, helping engineers and emerging leaders accelerate their careers.
• Scale engineering practices by implementing processes and values that improve team efficiency and code quality.
• Maintain technical engagement by contributing to code reviews and technical design, ensuring health and observability of systems.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of people‑management experience, including performance reviews and goal setting.
• Strong background as a Software Engineer with a track record of building user‑focused products quickly.
• Proven ability to hire, onboard, and support the personal growth of team members.
• Demonstrated skill in leading through ambiguity and managing both local and remote engineers.
• Experience collaborating with Product, Design, and Operations to influence roadmap decisions.
