Engineering Manager

About the role

HYCU is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead and grow high‑performing engineering teams building scalable, cloud‑native platforms. The role combines strong people leadership with deep technical expertise, requiring a hands‑on leader who can coach engineers, drive execution, and partner closely with product and cross‑functional stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Coach and mentor engineers in career growth and skill development.
• Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and feedback sessions.
• Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and psychological safety.
• Monitor team morale, engagement, and workload balance; address challenges promptly.
• Collaborate with Product and other stakeholders to align team goals with business priorities.
• Ensure teams have resources and support needed to deliver high‑performance systems.
• Track progress against goals and keep teams focused on delivering value.
• Advocate for engineering needs, drive cross‑team collaboration, and contribute to hiring, onboarding, and retention strategies.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience using C# and .NET Core/ASP.NET Core, building high‑throughput cloud applications.
• 3+ years of experience in a leadership or management role guiding software development teams.
• Proven ability to foster an inclusive, high‑performance team culture.
