Engineering Manager – AI Agents

About the role

Goldcast is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead two pods focused on AI Agents that power the content homepage, video editor, and related AI initiatives. You will own end‑to‑end outcomes, partner with Product and Design, and raise engineering quality across the platform.

Key responsibilities

• Manage up to two engineering pods, planning, de‑risking and delivering projects with strong SDLC and release rigor.
• Establish and uphold standards for code quality, testing, observability, and operational readiness.
• Own engineering metrics, OKRs and communicate progress, risks and mitigations to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Product and Design to define roadmaps, scope, prioritisation and trade‑offs for AI Agent features.
• Hire, onboard, mentor and develop engineers, fostering a high‑ownership culture.
• Lead cross‑team initiatives to improve processes, documentation and delivery at scale.

Required profile

• 8+ years of software engineering experience.
• 2+ years of experience managing engineers or serving as a Tech Lead across multiple workstreams.
• Strong technical judgment in backend or full‑stack systems and experience setting engineering standards at scale.
• Proven ability to translate strategy into clear plans and measurable outcomes.
