Engineering Lead – Engine Thermal & Fluid Systems

About the role

The Engineering Lead will drive the design, analysis, integration and validation of engine thermal and fluid systems, including secondary air, oil and fuel subsystems. The role supports both new concept development and in‑service engine support.

Key responsibilities

• Lead concept design, modelling and assessment of air, oil, fuel and heat‑management systems.
• Perform system modelling using 1‑D network solvers, Finite Element Analysis and CFD, and oversee test planning, execution and analysis.
• Deliver technical packages and investigations aligned with programme milestones, cost, schedule and quality targets.
• Act as the primary point of contact for the engineering discipline, sharing knowledge with internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide production and in‑service engine support and promote continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Engineering degree or equivalent experience in Thermo/Aero/Fluid‑dynamics or Stress (minimum 4 years).
• Strong team‑working ability and experience in multi‑functional project environments.
• Proven capability to plan and execute complex tasks under tight deadlines.
• Comfort with ambiguity and data‑driven decision making.
• Excellent communication of complex technical ideas.
