Engineer / Senior Engineer – Field Quality (SEB)

About the role

KONE moves over one billion people every day and provides elevators, escalators and building doors worldwide. As an Engineer / Senior Engineer – Field Quality (SEB) you will ensure safety and quality of equipment in line with KONE’s standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct safety and quality audits on equipment, ensuring compliance with KONE safety policies.
• Follow‑up with maintenance teams on non‑conformities and confirm their closure.
• Perform safety audits prior to certification and carry out root‑cause analysis.
• Audit new lifts using focus check‑list and certify major repair work completion.
• Execute C4LIS audits on modernised equipment and record findings in EDMS.
• Audit store inventories, monthly and quarterly material, tools and processes.
• Inspect non‑KONE equipment before it enters the maintenance scope.
• Certify local scrap of spare parts in coordination with the SEB support team.
• Meet customers according to the CCMP process and identify root causes for complaints.

Required profile

• Good communication skills.
• Strong analytical ability to identify root causes during audits.
• Basic computer proficiency with MS Excel and PowerPoint.

Required skills

• Knowledge of SEB processes and MBM.
• Familiarity with AS, AR and AM documentation.
• Understanding of SEB spare parts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
