Engineer – NBS Installation

About the role

KONE is seeking an Engineer to lead the installation of NBS (New Building Solutions) equipment on construction sites. You will be responsible for delivering projects safely, on time, and within budget while ensuring high customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of the installation project, ensuring site safety and compliance with environmental standards.
• Plan and organise material delivery, storage, and subcontractor orders.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, update company management systems, and report progress to superiors.
• Control costs against budget and monitor key performance indicators such as CM2%.
• Oversee final testing of equipment and handover to maintenance teams.
• Manage customer and subcontractor relationships, acting as the single point of contact on site.
• Drive sales targets, add‑on sales, and variation orders during installations.
• Lead site operatives, ensuring their development, wellbeing, and performance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in site supervision of installation projects.
• Strong accountability for safety, environmental aspects, and financial results.
• Ability to coordinate with sales, accounts payable, and controlling functions.
• Excellent communication skills for internal and external stakeholders.
• Leadership capability to manage and develop site teams.

Required skills

• Knowledge of KONE installation methods and procedures.
• Ability to conduct final testing of elevator/escalator equipment.
