Employee Relations Specialist / Senior Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Employee Relations Specialist (or Senior Specialist) to lead HR service delivery and employee relations across multiple sites in Chennai. The role focuses on handling grievances, conducting listening programs, supporting performance management, and partnering with business leaders to ensure a positive employee experience.

Key responsibilities

• Manage Employee Relations service delivery through ServiceNow and other support channels.
• Handle employee grievances, concerns, and workplace issues with timely resolution.
• Conduct employee listening posts, skip‑level meetings, and focus‑group discussions.
• Support leaders in performance management and performance‑improvement initiatives.
• Manage ER cases including disciplinary actions, involuntary separations, leave‑related matters, and other sensitive issues.
• Maintain accurate case documentation, reports, and tracking logs.
• Collaborate with HR Business Partners and business leaders on employee relations matters.
• Analyze ER trends and provide actionable insights to leadership.
• Support implementation and communication of HR policies, programs, and procedures.
• Participate in HR projects and process‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of dedicated Employee Relations experience.
• Proven ability to handle grievances, conduct investigations, and manage disciplinary matters.
• Strong stakeholder‑management, coaching, and influencing capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong analytical and reporting capabilities.
