Employee Investigations Lead (Compliance)

About the role

The Employee Investigations Lead is responsible for managing and overseeing ethics and forensics investigations across the organization, ensuring confidentiality, compliance with ethical standards, and mitigation of potential risks.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough and unbiased ethics investigations, including interviews, document review, and evidence gathering.
• Analyze findings to assess severity, impact, and compliance implications of ethical violations.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to privacy policies and legal requirements throughout investigations.
• Develop detailed investigation plans with timelines, interview schedules, and evidence‑collection strategies.
• Collaborate with HR, legal, and senior management to align investigation processes with organizational policies and provide guidance.
• Prepare comprehensive investigation reports documenting findings, analysis, and recommended actions.
• Design and deliver ethics training programs and offer guidance on ethical dilemmas to employees and managers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in law, ethics, CA, MSW or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
• 3‑7 years of experience conducting ethics investigations, preferably in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of ethical principles, regulations, and industry best practices.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities with a focus on risk assessment.
• High integrity, ability to handle sensitive information confidentially, and strong communication skills.
