Embedded Software Developer – Application & Customer Support

About the role

We are looking for an Embedded Software Developer to join Bosch Rexroth India’s mobile electronics team in Bangalore. The role focuses on application software development and providing technical support for Bosch Rexroth’s BODAS product portfolio used in off‑highway machines such as wheel loaders, excavators and tractors.

Key responsibilities

• Perform application engineering for BODAS Mobile Electronics solutions, including ECUs, displays, sensors and joysticks.
• Develop control software for mobile machines using C‑compiler tools and the IEC 61131‑3 based CoDeSys environment.
• Design application solutions that meet specific customer requirements by integrating hardware and software modules.
• Participate in customer meetings to gather detailed functional requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless integration of IoT and automation features.

Required profile

• Engineering graduate with a strong interest in embedded systems and automotive/mobile applications.
• Proactive attitude and ability to communicate effectively with customers and internal teams.

Required skills

• C programming language.
• IEC 61131‑3 programming using CoDeSys.
• Embedded software development for ECUs and display units.
• Experience with IoT integration and sensor interfacing.
