Embedded Software Architect – Gateway

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Embedded Software Architect to lead the design of scalable, high‑performance embedded solutions for gateway products. You will translate business and system requirements into robust technical architectures while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Define end‑to‑end embedded software architecture, including drivers, middleware, and application layers.
• Design scalable solutions across MCU/SoC platforms, RTOS, and hardware abstraction layers.
• Specify communication interfaces and integration strategies for subsystems.
• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards.
• Integrate connectivity modules such as RF and Wi‑Fi into embedded systems.
• Assess emerging technologies (AI/ML, GenAI, data platforms) to improve platform engineering.
• Lead technical discussions, architecture reviews, and proof‑of‑concept initiatives.
• Evaluate new tools, frameworks, and connectivity solutions.
• Establish and enhance CI/CD pipelines for embedded development.
• Mentor development teams on architecture best practices and support complex debugging.

Required profile

• Strong expertise in Embedded C/C++ development on Linux environments.
• Proven experience in embedded software architecture and system design.
• Hands‑on experience with major cloud IoT platforms.
• Ability to balance performance, memory, power, and cost trade‑offs.
• Knowledge of secure boot, OTA updates, and cybersecurity concepts.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
