Embedded IoT Architect – End‑to‑End Solutions

About the role

We are seeking an innovative and highly experienced IoT Architect to lead the definition and development of scalable, secure, and robust end‑to‑end IoT solutions. In this pivotal role you will bridge embedded systems, connectivity, and cloud platforms to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance across the IoT ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Translate business and system requirements into a comprehensive technical architecture.
• Define end‑to‑end IoT architecture covering device hardware/firmware, connectivity layers, cloud services, data pipelines, and user interfaces.
• Design communication interfaces and integration strategies across subsystems.
• Architect solutions for high performance, low latency, and efficient resource usage while meeting safety, regulatory and quality standards.
• Implement robust integration patterns between IoT devices and cloud platforms such as AWS IoT, Azure IoT Hub, and Google Cloud IoT Core, including device provisioning, authentication, and data ingestion.
• Assess emerging technologies (AI/ML, Generative AI, data platforms) to improve embedded platform engineering and automation.
• Lead technical discussions, architecture reviews and drive proof‑of‑concept initiatives.
• Evaluate new tools, frameworks and connectivity solutions, and establish CI/CD pipelines for embedded systems.
• Mentor development teams on architecture best practices and support complex system‑level debugging.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing and implementing end‑to‑end IoT architectures spanning embedded devices, connectivity, and cloud layers.
• Hands‑on experience with major cloud IoT platforms.
• Strong understanding of wireless connectivity technologies and trade‑offs between performance, memory, power and cost.
• Excellent analytical and system‑level problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
