Embedded IoT Architect – End-to-End Solutions

About the role

We are seeking an innovative and highly experienced IoT Architect to lead the definition and development of scalable, secure, and robust end-to-end IoT solutions. In this pivotal role you will bridge embedded systems, connectivity, and cloud platforms, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance across the entire IoT ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Translate business and system requirements into a comprehensive technical architecture.
• Define end-to-end IoT architecture covering device hardware/firmware, connectivity layers, cloud services, data pipelines, and user interfaces.
• Design communication interfaces and integration strategies across subsystems.
• Architect solutions for high performance, low latency, and efficient resource usage while meeting safety, regulatory, and quality standards.
• Implement robust integration patterns between IoT devices and cloud platforms (AWS IoT, Azure IoT Hub, Google Cloud IoT Core), including device provisioning, authentication, and data ingestion.
• Assess emerging technologies such as AI/ML, Generative AI, and data platforms to enhance embedded engineering and automation.
• Lead technical discussions, architecture reviews, and proof-of-concept initiatives.
• Evaluate new tools, frameworks, and connectivity solutions.
• Establish and improve CI/CD pipelines for embedded systems.
• Mentor development teams on architecture best practices and provide support for complex system-level debugging.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing and implementing end-to-end IoT architectures spanning embedded devices, connectivity, and cloud layers.
• Strong analytical thinking and system-level problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.
• Experience mentoring engineers and leading technical reviews.

Required skills

• Embedded systems and firmware development.
• Wireless connectivity technologies.

• Design of data pipelines, device provisioning, authentication, and ingestion mechanisms.
