Embedded C++ Software Developer – Contract Role

About the role

Bosch Global Software Technologies is looking for an experienced Embedded Software Developer proficient in C++. The role is a full‑time contract position based in Bengaluru, focusing on developing high‑performance embedded solutions for industrial automation.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain C++ code for embedded platforms following industry best practices.
• Develop multi‑threaded and concurrent applications, ensuring reliability and real‑time performance.
• Integrate communication protocols such as MQTT and, when required, Sparkplug B.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to troubleshoot, profile, and optimise software performance.
• Participate in code reviews, documentation, and continuous improvement activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (B.E./B.Tech) or related field.
• 4–10 years of professional experience in embedded software development.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and a solid understanding of data structures and algorithms.

Required skills

• Advanced C++ (C++14/17 or newer)
• Multi‑threading and concurrent programming
• STL, smart pointers, data structures, algorithms
• MQTT fundamentals
• Linux development environment
