Embedded C++ Developer (Embedded Control Technology)

About the role

We are looking for an Embedded C++ Developer to join Bosch’s Global Software Technologies team in Bangalore. You will design, develop and maintain firmware for a range of electronic products, working on cutting‑edge embedded solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement software for embedded devices and systems.
• Develop, code, test and debug system software using Embedded C++.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate product specifications into software designs.
• Continuously improve software quality, stability and scalability.
• Build proof‑of‑concepts and demonstrate feasibility of innovative solutions.
• Maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams.

Required profile

• BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech in Electronics or related field.
• 1‑5 years of experience in embedded firmware development.

Required skills

• Embedded C++ programming.
• Experience with Embedded RTOS such as FreeRTOS or Embos.
• Knowledge of peripheral interfaces (I2C, SPI, Serial, CAN).
• Ability to read schematics and component datasheets.
• Technical documentation skills.

Additional skills (nice to have)

• Python scripting for automation.
• Bootloader and GUI development.
• Debugging tools like JTAG and signal analyzers.
• Use of test equipment such as multimeters and digital oscilloscopes.
• Familiarity with Git, TestRail, Jira, Confluence and CI/CD pipelines.
