Elevator Maintenance Mechanic (Field Executive)

About the role

Otis is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join its field team in Jammu. You will be responsible for the safe operation, maintenance, and repair of elevator and escalator units across the assigned territory.

Key responsibilities

• Perform scheduled maintenance, service visits, and preventive maintenance for all units in the territory.
• Respond to emergency calls, passenger‑trap incidents, and breakdowns, aiming for first‑time fix.
• Carry out minor repairs, quality code maintenance, and PCR tasks.
• Manage the portfolio of elevators in Jammu and Katra, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Liaise directly with customers on‑site to build strong working relationships.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in the elevator sector.
• Valid driver’s license (if required locally).
• Strong commitment to safety and professional conduct.
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently or within a team.
• Comfortable using electronic and digital tools.
