Electronics Design Engineer – Wireline

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Electronics Design Engineer to lead the design and development of innovative electrical and electronic products for wireline applications. The role involves creating PCB layouts, developing analog and digital circuits, validating prototypes, and supporting the transition of designs into manufacturing while ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical systems, including PCB layouts, analog/digital circuits, sensors, and electronic components.
• Develop, build, test, and troubleshoot prototype circuits.
• Ensure designs meet IPC, IEC, and EMI/EMC standards.
• Prepare and maintain PCB documentation, engineering records, and product sign‑offs using PLM tools such as Windchill.
• Research and evaluate component replacements for obsolescence management.
• Create factory acceptance test (FAT) procedures and support manufacturing transition.
• Assist Repair & Maintenance teams with troubleshooting and sustaining engineering.
• Coordinate equipment and material requirements to meet project timelines.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and provide post‑project technical support.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunication Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in electronic product design and development.
• Hands‑on experience with PCB design, analog/digital circuits, power electronics, and prototype testing.
• Familiarity with factory acceptance testing and engineering documentation.
