Electrified Driveline Engineer

About the role

The Electrified Driveline Engineer will lead the design, development and delivery of electric drive units for BEV programs. You will own the technical solution from concept through production, ensuring performance, cost‑effectiveness and timely project execution.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the complete responsibility for the Electric Drive Unit within a specific program.
• Deliver technical designs, support project timing, and anticipate technical issues.
• Prepare DVP plans, align with DFMEA, and ensure DFS & DFM compliance.
• Manage engineering releases, change management, and detailed part‑level design.
• Select materials, generate testing reports, and oversee validation test cases.
• Conduct audits, PPAP & PSW sign‑offs, and implement corrective actions.
• Optimize processes and reporting tools to improve departmental efficiency.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders for effective design solutions.
• Perform competitor benchmarking and manage supplier deliveries.

Required profile

• 6‑10 years of experience with electric drive units in BEV vehicles.
• Strong knowledge of torque, speed, gear selection and ratio optimization.
• Understanding of vehicle dynamics, integration and BEV subsystem commodities.
• Experience with manufacturing processes such as casting, injection molding and machining.
• Proven track record in developing BEV driveline systems.
• Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
