Electrician – On‑site Installation & Maintenance

About the role

Brightvolt Contracts Private Limited is seeking a full‑time, on‑site Electrician to join its team in Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar. The role involves installing, repairing and maintaining electrical systems across commercial, residential and industrial projects while ensuring safety and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Install, repair and maintain electrical wiring, fixtures, panels and equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics and load schedules.
• Perform routine inspections, identify faults and execute corrective actions.
• Test and commission new installations and document all work performed.
• Coordinate with engineers, supervisors and other trades to ensure smooth project execution.
• Follow local safety standards, electrical codes and support preventative maintenance programs.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in electricity principles and practical electrical work.
• Experience in maintenance and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical faults effectively.
• Familiarity with electrical engineering concepts applied to installations and commissioning.
• Knowledge of local electrical codes and safety standards.
• Relevant vocational training (ITI/diploma) or certification in the electrical trade.
• Ability to read technical drawings, schematics and load schedules.
• Attention to detail, problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Willingness to work on‑site across different project types and adapt to varied shifts as required.
