Electrical System Installation Engineer – Functional Electrics (Airframe)

About the role

The Physical Design & Integration (PDI) team is looking for an Electrical System Installation Engineer specialized in Functional Electrics for airframe projects. You will support the architecture and integration of electrical and mechanical system installations, ensuring compliance with Airbus processes and aircraft build standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop concept studies and architecture integration for system installation areas.
• Create and maintain wiring diagrams using SEE XP, CCD and Capital toolsets.
• Manage configuration and product structure data, navigating DMU and aircraft build processes.
• Use TAKSY, GILDA and CIRCE tools for database management.
• Drive project performance KPIs and continuous improvements.
• Coordinate with a large, diverse team of specialists and experts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace, Automotive or Mechanical Engineering.
• 3‑6 years of experience in electrical system installation, functional electrics and configuration management.
• Good understanding of aircraft build processes and basic aircraft systems.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, transnational environment and communicate effectively with customers.
