Electrical System Engineer

About the role

Airbus is seeking an Electrical System Engineer to join its Bengaluru Engineering Center. The role covers the full aircraft life‑cycle, from early development to post‑delivery, focusing on electrical load analysis, architecture definition and configuration management for commercial aircraft.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver electrical load analysis for Airbus commercial aircraft, ensuring time, cost and quality targets.
• Support and conduct electrical architectural studies, including load list review and analysis at busbar, TRU and generator levels.
• Perform load flow, voltage drop and protection selection analyses and document results in ELA reports.
• Analyse in‑service issues, respond to airline load analysis requests and create functional diagrams.
• Conduct feasibility and trade‑off studies for new electrical system modifications and maintain fleet allocation and configuration data.
• Initiate optimisation studies and propose innovative solutions to improve processes, methods and tools.

Required profile

• B.Tech./B.E./M.Tech./M.E. in Electrical or Aerospace Engineering.
• General awareness of aircraft systems and strong engineering fundamentals.
• Good mathematical and statistical analysis capability.
• Exposure to aircraft electrical systems and understanding of configuration management and change processes.
