Electrical Maintenance Engineer

About the role

Hydro Prokav Pumps India is seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to ensure high availability of CNC, VMC and HMC machines in its manufacturing plant. The role focuses on preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance of CNC, VMC and HMC machines.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, electronic, PLC, control and machine‑related issues.
• Analyze and modify PLC ladder logic to resolve faults.
• Manage machine controller parameters, backups, restoration and optimisation.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis for repetitive breakdowns and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor machine health through condition monitoring and predictive techniques.
• Track and report maintenance KPIs such as MTTR, MTBF, uptime, downtime and maintenance costs.
• Coordinate with production teams to minimise downtime and improve efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with Integrated Management System standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
• Participate in TPM, Lean, Kaizen and continuous‑improvement projects.

Required profile

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• 5–7 years of experience maintaining CNC/VMC/HMC machines in a manufacturing environment.
• Hands‑on experience with machine commissioning, relocation and upgrades.
• Additional certifications in PLC, CNC controllers, industrial automation or maintenance management are preferred.
