Electrical Engineer – Bangalore

About the role

Applied Materials is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design, modify, and troubleshoot electrical and electronic assemblies that support cutting‑edge semiconductor and display equipment. The role involves engineering analysis, test reporting, and coordination of component procurement to ensure high‑performance products.

Key responsibilities

• Design or modify electrical/electronic assemblies, layouts, schematics, drawings or specifications of moderate scope under general supervision.
• Perform basic engineering analysis and virtual analysis for electrical schematics, including 3D electrical modeling.
• Generate engineering test reports and related documentation for product releases.
• Coordinate procurement and assembly of components, identify sources of critical parts, and resolve technical issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 2‑4 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of electrical standards such as CE, UL, SEMI & IPC.

Required skills

• Proficiency with E3.series, NX, PCAD, and PCBA design tools.
• Ability to troubleshoot moderately complex electrical problems.
• Experience with virtual analysis and 3D electrical modeling.
