Electrical Engineer – Annex Building (Airport Infrastructure)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to design, implement and manage electrical systems for annex building projects within airport infrastructure. The role involves ensuring safe, efficient and compliant operations in complex airport environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement power distribution, lighting and backup systems for annex buildings.
• Integrate electrical systems with airport-wide infrastructure, including terminals, airside and landside operations.
• Perform load calculations, system analysis and feasibility studies.
• Manage airport-specific systems such as runway, taxiway and apron lighting, and airfield power.
• Oversee UPS, generator and emergency lighting installations and ensure their reliability.
• Support integration of energy‑efficient lighting, smart controls and renewable energy sources.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers and contractors to meet project timelines, budgets and quality standards.
• Supervise procurement and installation of electrical equipment, ensuring compliance with specifications and standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical engineering for airport annex building projects.
• Strong knowledge of airport electrical requirements and relevant codes (ICAO, FAA, local regulations).
• Proven ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and manage complex projects.

Required skills

• Proficiency with electrical design software such as AutoCAD and ETAP.
• Experience with smart electrical systems, energy‑efficient technologies and renewable energy solutions.
• Ability to conduct load calculations and system analysis.
