Electrical Assistant – Manufacturing

About the role

The Electrical Assistant supports the design, development, testing and implementation of electrical and electronic systems used in manufacturing processes. Working in a regulated pharmaceutical environment, the role ensures safe, reliable and efficient operation of electrical equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in installation, operation and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment.
• Perform basic wiring, cabling and electrical panel tasks.
• Support preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Monitor system performance, report abnormalities and help with root‑cause analysis.
• Manage power distribution, load monitoring and grounding/earthing inspections.
• Maintain UPS and backup power systems, as well as VFD and motor‑control maintenance.
• Keep technical documentation, work logs and maintenance records up to date.
• Follow safety standards, SOPs and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Participate in continuous learning and improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Undergraduate ITI qualification (required) or Diploma DEE (preferred).
• 1–4 years of experience in electrical installation, maintenance or related manufacturing roles.
• Ability to work safely in a regulated pharmaceutical environment.
• Attention to detail and willingness to follow documented procedures.
