EHV Project Manager (Construction)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced EHV Project Manager to lead the construction and commissioning of high‑voltage solar power plant infrastructure. The role is field‑focused, requiring hands‑on coordination with subcontractors, vendors and internal teams to deliver projects safely, on time and to quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate mechanical, civil and electrical subcontractors for EHV tasks.
• Collect and record quality data, daily logs and progress photos.
• Monitor progress, oversee material delivery and arrange safe storage.
• Spend ~70% of time on‑site, often in extreme weather conditions.
• Implement site‑management methodologies and communicate with head‑office.
• Manage construction utilities, travel, accommodation and site services.
• Interpret civil, mechanical and electrical drawings for 66 kV+ projects, including feeder bays, grid substations and transmission lines.
• Lead skilled and unskilled workers, third‑party supervisors and vendor teams.
• Execute project schedule according to the PM plan and make on‑site decisions.
• Ensure quality checks and inspections for civil, electrical and mechanical works.
• Oversee erection, testing and pre‑commissioning of power transformers, HT/LT panels, SCADA, HV/EHV cables and metering systems.
• Arrange construction machinery, manage materials and maintain documentation.
• Conduct daily progress reporting, inspections and joint measurement verification.
• Resolve right‑of‑way issues and manage end‑to‑end EHV tasks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institute (advanced degree or professional certification is a plus).
