EHS Executive (Environmental Health & Safety)

About the role

We are looking for an EHS Executive to support our Environmental Health & Safety Manager in ensuring a safe and compliant workplace across our micro‑encapsulation facilities serving the nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, personal care, home care and functional food sectors. The role involves day‑to‑day monitoring of permits, safety equipment, trainings and statutory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the EHS Manager with daily operational tasks and reporting.
• Monitor work permits and enforce safe work practices.
• Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments and audits.
• Manage PPE inventory, first‑aid kits, fire extinguishers and other safety equipment.
• Deliver safety training for employees and vendors.
• Organise mock drills, health check‑ups and vaccination programmes.
• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and maintain certification schedules.
• Develop and update EHS SOPs and policies.
• Support implementation of ISO 14001:2015.
• Lead energy‑saving and sustainability initiatives.

Required profile

• Graduation in B.Sc., M.Sc. or a related EHS discipline.
• 2–5 years of experience in environmental, health and safety roles.
• Ability to work independently and support a senior manager.
