EHS Consultant – Environmental Health & Safety

About the role

TeamTech Environment Health & Safety Private Limited is seeking a qualified EHS Consultant to join its Bengaluru office. The role involves delivering environmental, health, safety and sustainability consulting services to clients across India and internationally.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct EHS audits, inspections, legal compliance and risk assessments across diverse industries.
• Execute consulting assignments such as Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment (HIRA), Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and EHS Management System implementation.
• Develop EHS policies, standards, procedures, manuals, risk registers and other technical documentation.
• Prepare technical reports, audit reports, proposals and other client deliverables.
• Deliver EHS training programmes, workshops and awareness sessions for client organisations.
• Provide technical support on Environment, Health, Safety, Sustainability & Social (EHSS&S) projects.
• Assist clients in complying with statutory, regulatory and international EHS requirements.
• Coordinate site visits, understand project requirements and recommend practical, value‑added EHS solutions.
• Support Sustainability, ESG, Environmental & Social Due Diligence (ESDD/ESGDD) assignments.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely, high‑quality project delivery and maintain strong client relationships.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of EHS consulting experience (consulting experience mandatory).
• B.Tech in Industrial Safety, Safety Engineering, Environmental Engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of EHS legislation, risk assessment methodologies and EHS Management Systems.
• Excellent analytical, report writing, communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Willingness to travel across India and internationally for client assignments.
• Experience with Sustainability, ESG and Environmental & Social consulting is preferred.
