About the role

The Early Years Programme/Primary Years Programme Teacher will join Riverdale World School in Raipur to design and deliver inquiry‑based lessons for early and primary learners within the International Baccalaureate framework. This full‑time, on‑site position focuses on fostering curiosity, creativity and foundational skills across subjects.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging, inquiry‑driven lessons aligned with IB standards.
• Design play‑based and experiential learning experiences that develop critical thinking.
• Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback and maintain detailed learning records.
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning and interdisciplinary projects.
• Communicate regularly with families about student development and achievements.
• Contribute to school events, professional development sessions and a positive, inclusive school culture.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in teaching and elementary education, with experience in early years and primary classrooms.
• Proficiency in curriculum development, preferably with IB or other international curricula.
• Relevant degree in Education or related field; teacher training or certification is highly beneficial.
• Experience with student‑centered, inquiry‑based and play‑based pedagogies in diverse settings.
• Ability to create inclusive, safe and engaging learning environments.
• Excellent organizational and classroom‑management skills.
• Openness to ongoing professional development within a global‑minded community.
