Early Years Programme Teacher

About the role

The Early Years Programme (EYP) Teacher is responsible for fostering the intellectual, social, emotional and physical development of children aged 3 to 6 years. Working within a play‑based and inquiry‑driven curriculum aligned with the International Baccalaureate (IB) philosophy, the teacher creates engaging learning experiences that inspire curiosity and independence.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver age‑appropriate, inquiry‑focused lessons that integrate the IB framework.
• Collaborate daily with co‑teachers, specialist staff and families to support each child’s holistic growth.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive and joyful classroom environment.
• Assess and document student progress, providing constructive feedback to parents and school leadership.
• Participate in professional development and contribute to the continuous improvement of the EYP.
