Early Career Lecturer – Business Management

About the role

Victoria University is launching its first Indian campus in Gurugram and seeks an Early Career Lecturer to teach undergraduate business programmes. The position focuses on delivering high‑quality, student‑centred instruction and contributing to curriculum innovation.

Key responsibilities

• Teach foundational business subjects to undergraduate students.
• Design and develop introductory, industry‑relevant curriculum, learning materials and assessments.
• Facilitate teaching across face‑to‑face, online and blended formats.
• Assess student work and provide timely, constructive feedback.
• Participate in curriculum improvement, subject coordination and academic administration.
• Engage with industry partners to enhance practical exposure and employability.
• Support student projects, case studies and experiential learning activities.
• Contribute to scholarly activities and teaching‑focused academic development.
• Assist with international collaborations and ensure compliance with university policies.

Required profile

• PhD (completed or in progress) in Business, Management or a closely related discipline from a recognised institution.
• Early‑career academic with a strong commitment to teaching excellence.
• Demonstrated ability to develop curriculum and assessment tools.
• Willingness to engage with industry and support student employability.
