Duty Doctor / ICU Physician (Full-time, Shift-based)

About the role

Krishna Hospital & Research Foundation is seeking committed, clinically competent doctors to join its team. The position involves providing general duty coverage across wards, emergency, and inpatient care, with additional responsibilities for candidates experienced in ICU and critical care.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and examine patients in wards, ICU, and emergency settings.
• Provide immediate medical care, stabilise patients, and initiate treatment according to clinical protocols.
• Monitor patient progress, maintain accurate case sheets and clinical documentation.
• Respond promptly to emergencies, critical calls, and Code Blue situations.
• Coordinate patient care with consultants, nursing staff, and other departments.
• Assist consultants during rounds, procedures, and patient management.
• Handle medico‑legal documentation and ensure proper handover during shift changes.
• For ICU‑experienced doctors: manage critically ill patients, monitor vital parameters, support ventilator management, handle sepsis, respiratory failure, shock, and perform or assist with ICU procedures.

Required profile

• MBBS degree with valid State Medical Council registration.
• Freshers (0–3 years) eligible for general duty doctor role.
• MBBS doctors with prior ICU or emergency experience for specialized duties.
• Additional qualifications in General Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Anaesthesia, or Critical Care are a plus.
