dSPACE HiL Test Engineer – ECU Testing

About the role

We are looking for a motivated dSPACE HiL Test Engineer to join our automotive software team in Bengaluru. You will work on hardware‑in‑the‑loop (HiL) test campaigns for ECU verification, ensuring high‑quality functional testing of automotive systems.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and integrate HiL test environments, including SW flashing, ECU parameter updates and measurement configuration.
• Develop and execute ECU test scripts (e.g., trace Tronics) and perform functional validation.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot test issues, identify root causes and produce detailed reports.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams using Agile methods and JIRA.
• Maintain test documentation and support continuous improvement of test processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics, EEE or Computer Science.
• 1‑3 years of experience in automotive verification and validation, preferably with HiL testing.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
• Good verbal and written communication in English.
• Familiarity with Agile development practices.
