Drug Safety Associate

About the role

Accenture is seeking a Drug Safety Associate to join its Life Sciences R&D vertical. You will support pharmacovigilance activities that ensure the safety and efficacy of pharmaceutical products by monitoring and analysing adverse event data.

Key responsibilities

• Create and manage case identification, data entry, and MedDRA coding for Individual Case Safety Reports (ICSRs).
• Process cases, submit reports and perform follow‑ups in the safety database according to client guidelines and global regulatory requirements.
• Detect, assess and help prevent adverse effects by analysing data from clinical trials, healthcare providers and patients.
• Support compliance with regulatory authorities and contribute to maintaining public trust in medications.

Required profile

• BSc or Bachelor of Pharmacy degree.
• 1‑3 years of experience in pharmacovigilance or drug safety surveillance.
• Familiarity with life‑sciences research environments and regulatory frameworks.

Required skills

• Pharmacovigilance operations.
• MedDRA coding.
• Safety database management.
• Knowledge of global regulatory requirements for drug safety.
