About the role
We are looking for a mechanical engineer to design and develop drive‑shaft components and assemblies for chassis applications. The role involves creating 3‑D models, 2‑D drawings and supporting the full product lifecycle from concept to production.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop drive‑shaft components and assemblies using CATIA V5.
- Create and modify 3‑D models, 2‑D drawings and assembly layouts.
- Prepare manufacturing drawings with GD&T according to industry standards.
- Perform tolerance stack‑up analysis and support design validation.
- Coordinate with cross‑functional teams including CAE, Manufacturing, Supplier Quality and Testing.
- Support design reviews, DFMEA, and engineering change management (ECN/ECR).
- Ensure compliance with customer specifications, automotive standards and design guidelines.
- Resolve design issues during prototype and production stages.
- Maintain engineering documentation and bill of materials.
Required profile
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.

- Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)

- Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA)
- Engineering change management (ECN/ECR)
- Bill of Materials (BOM) management
