Draughtsman – Electrical, Mechanical & Plumbing

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Draughtsman to produce detailed design, shop and as‑built drawings for electrical, mechanical and plumbing systems across our MEP projects. The role involves creating CAD models, collaborating with clients and consultants, and supporting engineers and project managers to ensure design quality and project success.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare plumbing design, shop and as‑built drawings.
• Generate CAD models using AutoCAD, ZWCAD and Revit.
• Design and draft complete electrical, plumbing and mechanical systems, or specialize in one discipline.
• Produce shop and schematic drawings for electrical, plumbing and HVAC, including chilled water and plumbing services.
• Draft sections for clash resolution and analysis.
• Collaborate with clients and consultants to address technical requirements and obtain approvals.
• Present design concepts and propose improvements to construction methods.
• Provide technical assistance to engineers and project managers.
• Perform ad‑hoc duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree, diploma or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience in building services engineering drafting.
• Fluent in AutoCAD and Revit.
• Strong communication and public relations skills.
• Willingness to travel overseas and work on Maldives sites.
