Draftsman – Architecture/Civil/MEP (Airport Projects)

About the role

The Draftsman (Architecture / Civil / MEP) will report to the Discipline Lead and be responsible for preparing, updating, coordinating and managing engineering and construction drawings for airport development projects. The role involves handling GFC, shop, construction, coordination and as‑built drawings while ensuring compliance with project standards and aviation requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, revise and update GFC, shop, construction, coordination and as‑built drawings for architectural, civil and MEP works.
• Incorporate site changes, RFIs, technical review comments and approved design revisions.
• Review drawings for completeness, constructability and compliance with standards.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, BIM specialists, consultants and contractors to resolve drawing‑related issues.
• Support multidisciplinary coordination across architectural, structural, MEP, utility and airport systems.
• Maintain drawing registers, revision logs, transmittals and document control records.

Required profile

• Diploma in Architecture, Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or related discipline).
• 5–10 years of drafting experience on infrastructure, commercial, industrial or transportation projects.
• Minimum 5 years of experience on airport or aviation infrastructure projects.
• Experience preparing and updating GFC, shop, coordination and as‑built drawings.
• Familiarity with BIM workflows, Common Data Environments and document management systems.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit and Civil 3D.
• Experience with BIM platforms and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Strong drawing review, revision control and document management capabilities.
• Ability to extract drawing‑based data for quantity take‑offs.
