About the role

The Doorman provides a warm first impression for guests at a Marriott hotel in New Delhi. You will greet, escort, and assist guests and visitors, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience from arrival to departure.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, open doors, and escort them to the lobby or their rooms.
• Provide information on hotel amenities, services, and local attractions.
• Assist with luggage handling, storage, and transportation to and from guest rooms.
• Help guests in and out of vehicles, including loading and unloading luggage.
• Arrange transportation such as taxis, shuttles, or limousine services and record requests.
• Communicate parking procedures and maintain awareness of security on the property.
• Maintain a clean, professional appearance and adhere to company policies.
• Respond promptly to guest needs, including assistance for individuals with disabilities.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to stand, walk, and move quickly for an entire shift.
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 lb unassisted and heavier items with assistance.
• Clear, professional communication skills in English.
• Customer‑service orientation and ability to work in a team.
