Doorman – Front Office Guest Service Agent

About the role

You will be the first point of contact for guests, handling check‑ins, check‑outs and guest inquiries throughout their stay. The role focuses on delivering warm, memorable hospitality and ensuring any issues are resolved promptly.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, complete check‑in, verify details, assign rooms, issue keys and provide welcome materials or bell service assistance.
• Process check‑outs, verify charges, handle payments, issue receipts and use the point‑of‑sale system accurately.
• Provide comprehensive information about hotel offerings, rates, promotions and local attractions.
• Promote hotel amenities and up‑sell services to maximize revenue.
• Respond to guest requests, resolve concerns quickly and manage communications effectively.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a guest service or front‑office role within hospitality.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to handle inquiries and complaints professionally.
• Ability to multitask, stay calm and maintain professionalism in a fast‑paced environment.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Positive attitude and genuine passion for exceptional guest service.

Required skills

• Proficiency with hotel property management systems (PMS).
• Experience using point‑of‑sale (POS) systems.
