DMU Integration Engineer – Airframe

About the role

Airbus India is seeking a DMU Integration Engineer focused on airframe systems to join its Cabin Design and DMU Integration team in Bangalore. The role involves performing integration activities (DMUi, SSCI, IFM) across cabin and airframe ATAs, ensuring that multi‑system configured DMUs meet Airbus design rules and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and validate 3‑D system installation models using Catia V5.
• Execute DMUi, SSCI and IFM integration tasks for airframe and cabin components.
• Maintain consistency between the configured DMU and the original design intent.
• Identify and reject design solutions that do not comply with quality, safety or integration constraints.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional specialists to propose and implement integration improvements.
• Support project‑level KPIs and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical/Electronics or Automotive engineering.
• 2‑5 years of experience in electrical/mechanical system installation, design or configuration management.
• Familiarity with aircraft build processes and basic aircraft systems.

Required skills

• Catia V5 for 3‑D modeling and validation.
• DMUi, SSCI and IFM integration activities.
• PDM/VPM tools linked to CAD models.
• System installation trade skills for ESI and MSI.
• Project management capabilities.
