Distinguished Architect

About the role

The Distinguished Architect will lead the design and integration of complex technology platforms across the enterprise. Working closely with senior management, software engineers and other technologists, this role ensures that architectural solutions align with business objectives and strategic direction.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of architects, providing guidance, thought leadership and resource allocation.
• Develop and communicate architectural strategy for assigned company platforms, ensuring enterprise‑level consistency.
• Present designs to Architecture Review Boards and executive leadership, influencing business strategy.
• Provide consultation, design input and technical direction to principal architects and senior engineering leaders.
• Drive product and solution strategies that shape platform requirements and investment decisions.
• Implement robust governance, risk management and compliance controls for AI and other platform initiatives.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in web development or solutions architecture.
• Proven track record delivering consumer‑facing and internal solutions at scale.
• Experience leading large‑scale technology enhancements, pilots and migrations.
• Strong understanding of DevOps practices and infrastructure automation.
• Demonstrated ability to design highly available, resilient, and secure systems.
