Director – Strategic Leadership for Education & Skilling Programs

About the role

The Director role at EduSkills Foundation® is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Hyderabad, providing strategic leadership for education, employment and entrepreneurship skilling initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction for programs and partnerships across the education and skilling ecosystem.
• Oversee planning, execution and evaluation of skilling initiatives.
• Manage stakeholder relationships with academic institutions, government bodies and industry partners.
• Represent EduSkills at key meetings, events and forums.
• Lead and mentor cross‑functional teams and ensure effective operational processes.
• Monitor program performance against organizational goals.
• Drive innovation in teaching and learning models and support fundraising and resource mobilization.

Required profile

• Demonstrated leadership and management experience, including strategic planning and decision‑making.
• Background in education, skilling, workforce development or related social‑impact sectors, preferably with non‑profit or public‑sector collaboration.
• Strong stakeholder‑management abilities to engage academic, government and industry partners.
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills with a consensus‑building approach.
• Proven capability in program design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation using data‑informed methods.
• Experience in fundraising, grant management or resource mobilization is an advantage.
• Ability to work on‑site in Hyderabad and travel as needed.
• Master’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
