Director, Product Manager – Disputes

About the role

Mastercard is looking for a senior product leader to shape the future of dispute management. The Director, Product Manager – Disputes will own strategic domains of the next‑generation disputes platform, driving AI‑first capabilities and modernizing the end‑to‑end resolution experience for the global payments ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Define long‑term vision, objectives and measurable outcomes for core dispute platform domains.
• Translate corporate and product strategy into prioritized roadmaps that balance customer needs, market opportunities, regulatory requirements and technology investments.
• Partner with executive leadership and regional stakeholders to steer Mastercard’s disputes modernization strategy.
• Lead product discovery, validate customer problems and design innovative solutions that deliver measurable value.
• Champion AI strategy within the disputes organization, embedding intelligence, automation, predictive decisioning and generative AI across product and engineering pods.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading product teams in complex, data‑driven environments.
• Strong track record of delivering large‑scale platform products in the payments or financial services sector.
• Ability to influence senior executives and collaborate across cross‑functional pods (engineering, data science, design, architecture).
