Director of Human Resources

About the role

The Director of Human Resources will lead the entire HR function for a fast‑growing organization, shaping people strategy to support business objectives while ensuring compliance with Indian employment laws. This senior leadership position combines strategic planning with hands‑on management of day‑to‑day HR operations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive HR strategy aligned with growth plans and serve as a trusted advisor to the executive team.
• Build, lead and mentor a high‑performing HR team, establishing clear KPIs and development pathways.
• Own end‑to‑end talent acquisition, employer branding, workforce planning and succession pipelines.
• Oversee employee relations, investigations, disciplinary actions and performance‑management programs.
• Design competitive compensation structures, manage benefits programs and partner with finance on payroll accuracy.
• Maintain HRIS, produce analytics and reporting for executive decision‑making.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant federal, state and local regulations, manage audits, claims and workplace safety programs.
• Drive learning and development initiatives to upskill the workforce.

Required profile

• Proven senior HR leadership experience, preferably as an HR Director or Head of HR.
• Strong track record of developing and executing HR strategies that support business growth.
• Deep knowledge of Indian labor laws and HR best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop HR professionals.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with senior executives.
