About the role
The Director of Enterprise Services leads Cvent’s global IT service organization, overseeing a team of more than 20 technicians, engineers, leads and managers. This senior role ensures reliable Tier‑1 and Tier‑2 support for a broad portfolio of IT services while aligning technology delivery with business objectives.
Key responsibilities
- Manage a worldwide team of 20+ technical staff delivering Tier‑1 and Tier‑2 support for 40+ IT services.
- Oversee employee training, service availability monitoring, and office infrastructure management.
- Maintain comprehensive hardware and software asset inventories.
- Serve as functional manager for the global service desk, shaping roadmaps and strategy.
- Provide consulting to non‑technical departments on effective use of IT services.
Required profile
- Strong technical background with progression from hands‑on roles to senior management.
- Proven experience leading large, distributed IT teams.
- Ability to translate business needs into technology solutions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
