Director of Data Analytics (B2C/D2C)

About the role

The Director of Data Analytics will lead the design and scaling of a next‑generation data mart to enable fast, data‑driven decisions across mobile, web, marketing, product and operations. You will own the end‑to‑end analytics ecosystem, democratise data, and embed AI/ML insights throughout the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Redesign and optimise data models to support large‑scale analytics and rapid decision‑making.
• Define tools and frameworks for data creation, transformation and consumption company‑wide.
• Integrate behavioural and transactional data into unified, query‑optimised flat tables.
• Own analytics across mobile, web, marketing, product and operations data streams.
• Partner with product, marketing, CRM, finance and operations to ensure data is actionable and governed.
• Drive self‑service analytics adoption through dashboards and reporting.
• Introduce and scale AI/ML‑driven use cases, including LLM‑powered conversational analytics.
• Build, mentor and scale a cross‑functional analytics team covering business, marketing and product finance.
• Collaborate with engineering leadership to ensure data infrastructure scalability, reliability and efficiency.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience leading data analytics teams and building enterprise data marts.
• Proven track record running analytics across mobile, web, marketing, product and operations ecosystems.
• Deep expertise in data modelling, flat‑table structures and query optimisation for large‑scale systems.
• Strong business acumen with ability to translate data into growth, retention and efficiency insights.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, comfortable influencing at CXO level.
• Experience enabling AI/ML and LLM‑based use cases and guiding data scientists.
